In this post, we are going to show you How to Create a Dating Website With WordPress without any coding. We are using the DateBook Dating WordPress Theme to show you how to create your own dating website without any coding knowledge.
DateBook theme is one of the most complete and specially designed for dating. Installation
Download the latest version of DateBook from here.
Upload the theme on WordPress dashboard
The easiest way to install the theme is to upload via WordPress Dashboard
1. Go to Appearance » Themes » Add New » Upload
2. Click on Browse and select the zip file you just downloaded.
3. Then Click on Install Now.
4. Now Activate the theme.
Installation of Required Plugin
Right after the theme was activated, a notification will appear at the top of the screen to continue with the installation of the plugins that come with the theme. Also, You can access this page by going to DateBook » Install Plugins.
1. Click on Begin installing plugins and install the DateBook Plugin.
2. Now Activate the DateBook Plugin.
Theme Installer
DateBook has specially created Theme Installer, so you don’t have to create any pages, Countries, Menus, Widgets, and Database Tables (MySQL) manually.
1. You can start the installation by clicking on the “Start Installation!” button on the notification panel. The installation process will start immediately.
2. Now go to DateBook » Theme Installer and click on the [1. Install] button.
3. Now it will take some time to import all the data. Once all the data imported, you will see “All the necessary data have been successfully installed!” message.
Countries and Cities
1. Go to DateBook » Theme Installer and click on [2. install] button.
2. You will be redirected to the Countries Installer page. Then click on the [Start] button.
3. Wait until the green line reaches 100% and all 244 countries are installed.
You can also add, edit and delete countries and cities
1. Go to DateBook » Countries and cities, Then click on the Edit button next to the country name.
2. The Edit form will open, and you can now edit any field.
Demo Content Import (Optional)
1. Go to DateBook » Theme Installer and then click on the [3. Install] button.
2. It can take some time to import everything. After it loads, you will see the “All the Demo Content have successfully been created!” message.
Once you receive the success message, your website is ready to go.
Customization
Theme Options
DateBook featured an amazingly easy and powerful Theme Options where you can find all the theme settings. The theme options can be used to customize the theme to suit your needs, including the Frontpage, Search page, and many more. You should take the time to go through all of these options to ensure that you are getting the most out of the theme.
All Theme Options are self-explanatory or are described well directly in the admin panel. The theme options are divided into categories to make them easy to find.
1. All the theme options can be set in the theme admin panel. To display it navigate to DateBook » Dashboard in the WordPress admin menu.
2. After the Dashboard is displayed, choose the options category from the top panel. The panel contains many different settings for the theme. Please, read the option description for more information on each option and how to set it up.
3. After you set all the required options, don’t forget to save your changes by clicking the [Save options] button.
Design Options
DateBook also featured an amazingly easy and powerful Design Options where you can find all the design and style settings. The design options can be used to customize the theme look to suit your needs, including fonts, links, background colors, margin, padding, and many more. You should take the time to go through all of the design options to ensure that you are getting the most out of the theme.

1. All the Design Options can be set in the theme admin panel. To display it navigate to DateBook » Design and Style in the WordPress admin menu.
2. After the Design and Style is displayed, choose the options category from the top panel. The panel contains many different settings for the theme. Please, read the option description for more information on each option and how to set it up.

Menus
WordPress comes with a wonderful and easy to use menus functionality, letting you quickly create a custom menu and place it in your theme’s supported menu areas or even in a widgetized area with the menus widget.
You can customize your menu in all themes by going to Appearance » Menus.

Adding Links
Here’s a general overview of a menu created for the DateBook theme. If you haven’t created a menu yet, you will be prompted to create one before being able to add pages, etc.. to your site’s navigation. Also, you can create as many menus as you’d like.
In the left-hand column, you will see a list of all your pages, as well as custom post types, categories, tags, etc.. You can then select certain pages or categories and add them to the menu you are creating.
Setup the Home and Blog Page
To setup, the home and blog page, navigate to Settings » Reading, select “A static page” and choose your “Homepage” page as the Homepage and “Blog” page as the Posts page.
Logo, Favicon, Top Menu, Header image
1. Go to Appearance » Customize.
2. Click the DateBook General tab
Logo, Background image
Background image and logo loads from this panel if the plugin DateBook is activated.
1. Go to the DateBook » Design and Style.
2. Click on the Header tab.
Setup All the Page Templates
The homepage and theme’s other pages must have a DateBook template. You can manually set the page templates.
Only the Blog page must use the Blog template.
1. To set the templates go to Pages » Edit.
2. Select “DateBook template” from Page Attributes.
Users
When Users register on the website, their login information is kept in the User table. Profiles are automatically created and kept in the Post table as Profiles.
As Administrator, you can publish/suspend a profile, assign Top/Featured statuses and Verification. All these options are placed in the Administration Dashboard that is located above any Profile.
